Kia Kaha

Kia kaha is a Māori phrase that means forever strong! The phrase has significant meaning for both the Māori and Pākehā people of New Zealand. Popularized through its usage by the Māori Battalion during World War II, it has been in common use since and is regularly found in titles of books and song, as well as as a motto.

Some of the fiercest battles we will face are on the fields of our very souls. Kia kaha!!!!

My purpose in writing on this blog is to share some of my experiences in the medical field and personal thoughts. However, even more than that it's to help me remember the great people that I have met. Some of the stories are inspiring and some are just down right crazy! Kia kaha!!!!
